Meetup April

Work is not a Place, but Taxes are

Get informed about tax and legal obligations if you work from anywhere or hire remote teams.

We have included talks about the future of work often in our meetups since 2020. Most of our previous meetups were about collaborative work and how to organize remote teams. However, there are other questions around this topic: how to comply with tax and legal issues if I work remotely? Last November 2021 we had the case of the Canary Islands as a hot (literally) destination for digital nomads and remote workers. In this meetup, we wanted to talk more about how to do it properly. These are the topics that we are going to have:
– The work from anywhere revolution
– The 183 day myth and other fake news around taxes
– The key tax and other risks to watch out for
– Managing work from anywhere tax risks as a startup
– The future of work from anywhere
